* wifi: iwlwifi: refactor RX tracingJohannes Berg2023-12-121-2/+15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When there's not going to be any data in the data event, we don't need to add it at all (unlike the TX version, it has no data at all.) Also combine the tracing into a separate inline so we only call iwl_rx_trace_len() once, which also simplifies things, and lets us have a single place to later add other checks. * wifi: iwlwifi: Avoid disabling GCC specific flag with clangNathan Chancellor2023-03-161-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Clang errors: drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-devtrace.c:15:32: error: unknown warning group '-Wsuggest-attribute=format', ignored [-Werror,-Wunknown-warning-option] #pragma GCC diagnostic ignored "-Wsuggest-attribute=format" ^ 1 error generated. The warning being disabled by this pragma is GCC specific. Guard its use with CONFIG_CC_IS_GCC so that it is not used with clang to clear up the error. * wifi: iwlwifi: suppress printf warnings in tracingJohannes Berg2023-03-151-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This can't really be fixed due to the macro layout of tracepoints (you'd need a special tracepoint macro for when this is needed), so just suppress the warnings. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <[email protected]>

| | | | | | | | | | The list address is going away, and the postal address isn't useful, remove all the contact information. * iwlwifi: remove ucode error tracepointJohannes Berg2018-09-281-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Alexei's patch, assumed that all versions of "struct iwl_error_event_table" are the same, but there are really different versions in different files. Rather than trying to fix this, or splitting the tracepoint, or anything of the sort, just remove it entirely - turns out that nobody really uses it. * iwlwifi: remove all occurrences of the FSF address paragraphLuca Coelho2018-08-311-4/+0
| | | | | | | | The Free Software Foundation address is superfluous and causes checkpatch to issue a warning when present. Remove all paragraphs with FSF's address to prevent that. Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <[email protected]>
* net/wireless/iwlwifi: fix iwlwifi_dev_ucode_error tracepointAlexei Starovoitov2018-03-281-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | fix iwlwifi_dev_ucode_error tracepoint to pass pointer to a table instead of all 17 arguments by value. dvm/main.c and mvm/utils.c have 'struct iwl_error_event_table' defined with very similar yet subtly different fields and offsets. tracepoint is still common and using definition of 'struct iwl_error_event_table' from dvm/commands.h while copying fields. Long term this tracepoint probably should be split into two. Signed-off-by: Alexei Starovoitov <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Daniel Borkmann <[email protected]>
