SmartMux is a mechanism to switch the GPU being used for scanout in a
hybrid configuration. This is used for devices with an eDP and two GPUs.
This is only valid when the system has a physical switch (Multiplexer)
in the board to switch between the two GPUs.
When a graphically intensive workload like a game is being run, the
system can be switch the active display to the dGPU, so that we can
avoid copying the buffer from dGPU to APU for scanout. This helps with
latency and FPS. When power consumption is preferred, the system can be
switched to the APU.

[WHY]
For SQ128 pattern some vendor-specific overrides are required.
Previously a hardcoded clock gen source value was incorrectly programmed,
causing our override to retimer's clock source override to be ignored.
Due to some PHY issues on certain APU programs, we see failures on retimer
bypass ports extend to electrical testing downstream of PHY due to some host
clock jitter which the retimer follows.
[HOW]
Fix typo to use correct clock gen source override of 0xC4 rather than 0x4C.

[WHY]
When performing certain link maintenance compliance tests or forcing link
settings, changing between 128b/132b and 8b/10b rates no longer works on
some ASICs. Some rate divider updates only occur when we set
timings or validate state, which is not performed currently when toggling
DPMS to change rates.
[HOW]
Re-calculate dividers and reprogram audio when switching between DIO
and HPO through DP compliance/escape code path.
Add OTG disable/re-enable so we don't touch the clock while OTG is active.
Acquire dcLock before forcing link settings to avoid thread synchronization
errors due to added programming in escape code path and potential HPD
interrupts.

[WHY]
These fields are read for the explicit purpose of detecting embedded LTTPRs
(i.e. between host ASIC and the user-facing port), and thus need to
calculate the correct DPCD address offset based on LTTPR count to target
the appropriate LTTPR's DPCD register space with these queries.
[HOW]
Cascaded LTTPRs in a link each snoop and increment LTTPR count when queried
via DPCD read, so an LTTPR embedded in a source device (e.g. USB4 port on a
laptop) will always be addressible using the max LTTPR count seen by the
host. Therefore we simply need to use a recently added helper function to
calculate the correct DPCD address to target potentially embedded LTTPRs
based on the received LTTPR count.

[Why & How]
When MST config is unplugged/replugged too quickly, it can potentially
result in a scenario where previous DC state has not been reset before
the HPD link detection sequence begins. In this case, driver will
disable the streams/link prior to re-enabling the link for link
training.
There is a bug in the current logic that does not account for the fact
that current_state can be released and cleared prior to swapping to a
new state (resulting in the pipe_ctx stream pointers to be cleared) in
between disabling streams.
To resolve this, cache the original streams prior to committing any
stream updates.

[WHY]
Previously the 128b/132b LTTPR support DPCD field was used to decide if
FIXED_VS training sequence required a rate toggle before initiating LT.
When running DP2.1 4.9.x.x compliance tests, emulated LTTPRs can report
no-128b/132b support which is then forwarded by the FIXED_VS retimer.
As a result this test exposes the rate toggle again, erroneously causing
failures as certain compliance sinks don't expect this behaviour.
[HOW]
Add new DPCD register defines/reads to read LTTPR IEEE OUI and device ID.
Decide whether to perform the rate toggle based on the LTTPR's IEEE OUI
which guarantees that we only perform the toggle on affected retimers.

[Why]
The latest DP spec requires the DP TX to read DPCD F0000h through F0009h
when detecting LTTPR capabilities for the first time.
[How]
Update LTTPR cap retrieval to read up to F0009h (two more bytes than the
previous F0007h), and store the LTTPR ALPM capabilities.

[Why]
There have been instances of some monitors being unable to link train on
their reported link speed using their selected FFE preset. If a different
FFE preset is found that has a higher rate of success during link training
this workaround can be used to force its FFE preset.
[How]
A new link workaround flag is made called force_dp_ffe_preset. The flag is
checked in override_training_settings and will set lt_settings->ffe_preset
which is null if the flag is not set. The flag is then set in
override_lane_settings.

[Why]
Setting link DPMS off in response to HPD disconnect creates AUX
transactions on a link that is supposed to be disconnected. This can
cause issues in some cases when the sink re-asserts HPD and expects
source to re-enable the link.
[How]
Avoid AUX transactions on disconnected link.

[Why]
DP spec updated to have the CR AUX RD interval match the EQ AUX RD
interval interpretation of DPCD 0000Eh/0220Eh for 8b/10b non-LTTPR mode
and LTTPR transparent mode cases.
[How]
Update interpretation of DPCD 0000Eh/0220Eh for CR AUX RD interval
during 8b/10b link training.

[WHY]
We see unstable DP LL 4.2.1.3 test result with dpia pre-train. It is
because the outbox interrupt mechanism can not handle HPD
immediately and require some improvement.
[HOW]
1. not enable link if hpd_pending is true.
2. abort pre-train if training failed and hpd_pending is true.
3. check if 2 lane supported when it is alt mode

[WHY]
The defines have also been updated with prefix AMD_ and atomfirmware.h
has been temporarily updated with both sets of defines to allow the
transition.
This update is being made to standardize workaround chip_cap flags,
in order to support more workaround flags in the future.
[HOW]
Updated EXT_DISPLAY_PATH_CAPS__DP_FIXED_VS_EN define, the flag is now
an enum masked by EXT_DISPLAY_PATH_CAPS__EXT_CHIP_MASK. All checks for
DP_FIXED_VS_EN are now performed by masking with EXT_CHIP_MASK and
checking for an exact match rather than the previous bitwise AND check.

[Why]
Certain small HBlank timings may not have a large enough HBlank to
support audio when low bpp DSC is enabled. HBlank expansion by the
source can solve this problem, but requires the branch/sink to support
HBlank reduction.
[How]
Update DPMS sequence to call DM to perform DPCD write to enable HBlank
reduction on the branch/sink. Add stub in dm_helpers to be implemented
later.

[WHY]
We like to have pretrain for dpia link so that dp and dp tunneling
have aligned behavior. The Main difficult for dpia pretrain is that
encoder can not get corresponded dpia port when link detection
in current implementation.
[HOW]
1. create enable/disable dpia output functions for dcn35 encoder
and have dpia_id and other necessary info as inputs.
2. dcn35 dpia use the new functions to enable/disable output.
3. have a option to enable/disable the change.
