* indent: Fix spellingDaniel Kahn Gillmor2024-05-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | -- These are non-substantive corrections for minor spelling mistakes within the GnuPG codebase. With something like this applied to the codebase, and a judiciously tuned spellchecker integrated as part of a standard test suite, it should be possible to keep a uniform orthography within the project. GnuPG-bug-id: 7116

(opts): Add option --enable-issuer-based-crl-check. (main): Set option. -- If the issuer does not provide a DP and the user wants such an issuer, we expect that a certificate does not need revocation checks. The new option --enable-issuer-based-crl-check can be used to revert to the old behaviour which requires that a suitable LDAP server has been configured to lookup a CRL by issuer. * Replace GNUPG_GCC_A_ macros by GPGRT_ATTR_ macros.Werner Koch2015-07-261-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | * common/util.h: Provide replacement for GPGRT_ATTR_ macros when using libgpg-error < 1.20. * common/mischelp.h: Ditto. * common/types.h: Ditto. -- Given that libgpg-error is a dependency of all GnuPG related libraries it is better to define such macros at only one place instead of having similar macros at a lot of places. For now we need repalcement macros, though.
* common: Rename log and gcc attribute macros (jnlib merge).Werner Koch2015-04-241-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | * common/logging.h: Rename JNLIB_LOG_* to GPGRT_LOG_*. * common/mischelp.h: Rename JNLIB_GCC_* to GPGRT_GCC_*. -- JNLIB has no more meaning. Thus we switch to a GPGRT_ prefix in anticipation that some code may eventually be moved to libgpg-error. Signed-off-by: Werner Koch <[email protected]>

| | | | | | | | | Replace hardwired strings at many places with new macros from config.h and use the new strusage macro replacement feature. * common/asshelp.c (lock_spawning) [W32]: Change the names of the spawn sentinels. * agent/command.c (cmd_import_key): Use asprintf to create the prompt.
* Change all quotes in strings and comments to the new GNU standard.Werner Koch2012-06-051-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The asymmetric quotes used by GNU in the past (`...') don't render nicely on modern systems. We now use two \x27 characters ('...'). The proper solution would be to use the correct Unicode symmetric quotes here. However this has the disadvantage that the system requires Unicode support. We don't want that today. If Unicode is available a generated po file can be used to output proper quotes. A simple sed script like the one used for en@quote is sufficient to change them. The changes have been done by applying sed -i "s/\`\([^'\`]*\)'/'\1'/g" to most files and fixing obvious problems by hand. The msgid strings in the po files were fixed with a similar command.
* Nuked almost all trailing white space.post-nuke-of-trailing-wsWerner Koch2011-02-041-39/+38
| | | | | | | | We better do this once and for all instead of cluttering all future commits with diffs of trailing white spaces. In the majority of cases blank or single lines are affected and thus this change won't disturb a git blame too much. For future commits the pre-commit scripts checks that this won't happen again.
